The Spark
by Den Watson
Science tells us that while we are walking around the Earth, all living human beings are emitting a very tiny but measurable spark. This spark is part of how electricity makes the human body live. At the end, when inevitably everyone returns to the state of dirt (God made Adam out of mud), nothing of the body and mind remains. Except the spark. This returns to the universe along with the sparks of every human being that has ever lived before us. It joins the great out there. And so a very small part of us lives forever.
